The purpose of the Hollywood Town Halls is to provide an open forum to discuss issues of concern regarding crime and the quality of life for all stakeholders and members of the Hollywood community. New concerns are given attention and highlighted for follow-up by the LAPD in conjunction with the city family.  Our townhall meetings are also a forum to inform attendees about the the Hollywood Community Police Advisory Board (CPAB) and how interested members of the public can participate.  In addition invitations and applications to participate in the LAPD Community Police Academy are also provided.
